Genuine fellowship does not consistently take place when believers are not growing spiritually. It is as a result of a growing relationship with Christ,
(the fruit of which is love, peace, joy, longsuffering, self control; Galatians 5:22-25)
that relationships with other believers become meaningful.
Fellowship means companionship or partnership and communion with others on the basis of something held in common.

caring and sharing of God’s people one to another as an outgrowth of our fellowship with God.
